it’s set in African and American also the thing I liked about it is a story of the history of the blues the bit of history I found out was that the first person to invent an electric guitar was Abram king I think I’m not completely sure that’s what his name is but that is what I can hear from the video.

I think it was/is good that people express themselves through music. I had no idea it was of a African-American origin. However, I think that it was sad that blues only came about because of the pain that they were going through. The fact that the music diverted the thought of pain from their minds may be seen as a positive. This is because what they were going through was awful!

They still continued to play the blues to sort of show and express their feelings and how their life was then. This therefore strengthens the fact that music is simply an expression of human feelings. The blues is named “the blues” because blue is seemed as a gloomy character, which fits their situation back then

The african american people also sang away the pain with blues music whilst they were working as slaves.

I have done it from home today- I learnt that the blues were African slave workers singing when they were working and that the Europeans fell in love with music so they made it famous, incorporating new things. such as: instruments.
