We have the opportunity to review and rewrite our KS3 curriculum with the impending changes coming our way in September. Not easy as we have no idea what on earth GCSE or A level music will look like in a few years so whether what we decide to do at KS3 will feed into these new qualifications remains to be seen, but we have to make the most of this because any chance to stop, reflect and improve should never be viewed as a chore.
